In this so precarious and uncertain time, in which all our securities have wavered and fallen and unfortunately, as has happened to many, almost all work commitments with weddings postponed or even canceled, this photo shoot, made in one of the most enchanting of our country, it was truly a light of hope. Alyona and Matteo, she Ukrainian, he Italian, gave me this opportunity by deciding not to give up their life appointment, their marriage, defying restrictions and fear.
A wedding on Lake Maggiore, I could not have hoped for more because, even before reaching the destination, I already knew that the beauty of the lake and the surrounding landscape would have ensured the success of the service The climatic conditions, fortunately favorable, participation emotion of the spouses and envoys made everything perfect. The lake lent itself magnificently as a scenery because Stresa is a very diverse territory in views, from hilly to mountainous, from coastal to insular.
A geography rich in diversity and beauty that justifies the choice of many couples in wanting to celebrate their wedding on Lake Maggiore. The image of the bride and groom in a boat is the best expression and perhaps the most emblematic. Collected in an embrace and welcomed by a small boat, they seem ready to navigate the journey of life. Behind them, the undisputed enchantment of Isola Bella, one of the Borromean islands whose name has its destiny, even if the others certainly do not disfigure in beauty. With this reserve of charm at their disposal, Alyona and Matteo preferred to take care of the preparation for the ceremony on site and performed this ritual, so significant and almost propitiatory, in the setting of the splendid Villa Muggia.
Villa Muggia Siemens, this is the name of the beautiful architectural complex overlooking Lake Maggiore, was built in the second half of the 19th century on a pre-existing farmhouse in the countryside. Owned by three families, including that of the famous German industrialist whose name still retains traces and each of which has contributed to making it extraordinary, the villa is enhanced by the magnificence of a spectacular garden.
The one spent with Alyona and Matteo was truly a day full of emotions and I want to thank them for allowing me to be the photographer of their wedding on Lake Maggiore.
