Daniele Torella (b. 1984) is an Italian photographer based in Rome who works all over the world. His photography is the result of a fusion of two styles: documentary, whose spontaneity he appreciates, and editorial, whose aesthetic he embraces. Over the years, he has photographed weddings in Italy, England, Turkey, Greece, Portugal, Macedonia, Spain, United States, France, Switzerland, Jordan and Singapore.
“What I hope for my photographs is that they will stand the test of time. That is why, rather than chasing trends at all costs, I prefer to focus on a narrative that highlights the elements I consider essential to tell a story. Personal relationships, imperceptible details, moments that will never return. A photography that, thanks in part to the use of film, finds its beauty not in perfection, but in uniqueness, elegance and meaning.”
