t is not always so obvious that after exchanging a few jokes with a couple who contacts me, an almost immediate connection is created, but with Noemi and Tim it happened, and after getting to know them better, the relationship was strengthened by an instinctive mutual trust.
These young people live in Munich and that is where they randomly met in 2017 at Oktoberfest. Tim is an American from Buffalo and Noemi, although on her mother’s side there is a bit of Germany, was actually born and raised in Italy. In Munich they both decided to stay, but when in 2021, Tim proposed to her, they both decided that their wedding would be celebrated in Europe.
A love for Italy, its culture, its beauty and its food, made the choice easy and almost taken for granted. And Tuscany, so attractive and seductive to every taste, whether German, American or Italian, seemed the best answer. In the heart of Val d’Orcia, in Castiglione d’Orcia, precisely halfway between Bagno Vignoni and Bagni San Filippo, they found the ideal place to celebrate their love. Both of them, they dreamed of their wedding at Locanda in Tuscany, and it was there that their celebration was experienced in an atmosphere of joyful participation and total involvement by everyone.
At Locanda in Tuscany, one is truly assured of an immersive experience that is out of the ordinary. Everything seems to be conceived in the sign of luxury, but everything is realized in a dimension of authenticity and essentiality and above all in full agreement and harmony with the territory.
The Locanda in Tuscany project was born out of a sharing of love, that of the owners who conceived and wanted it and that of all the people involved in the realization of this project, which at first, seemed so ambitious as to seem impossible, but which, with the collaboration of local producers, growers and artisans, has come to life, becoming the valley’s flagship luxury hospitality and resort.
Love, harmony and beauty were the driving forces behind this reality and the much passion they put into it. A wedding at Locanda in Tuscany truly offers its guests an exhilarating experience because it is dominated by the many emotions that can be experienced and relived here, each time different and unique. For Claudia and Luca and all their staff, hospitality is a vocation and also a matter of love, so there is no better place to celebrate, celebrate and experience it. Wedding ceremonies can be experienced in the beautiful garden, by the pool, in a wheat or lavender field or, if you choose a religious wedding in one of the small churches around. The offer is wide and enticing in each case.
Noemi and Tim, together with their close-knit company of family and friends, all extremely involved and festive, decided to enjoy the outdoors. A choice, which at first, seemed to be compromised by a sudden storm but turned out to be a happy one when soon afterwards the sun shone again, accompanied by an unexpected rainbow, welcomed by all as a gift. This wedding at the Locanda in Tuscany was also an immersive experience for me. You could feel, you could almost breathe the love that circulated around, among the bride and groom of course, but also between them and their families, among friends. A beautiful celebration that the finale with the fireworks made exhilarating.
