Arezzo Wedding Photographer
In my long professional history, I have met many couples who have chosen to celebrate their wedding in Tuscany, undoubtedly one of the most requested locations. More rarely, on the other hand, I had the opportunity to find a couple who decided to get married in Arezzo. Arezzo for a wedding photographer is an ideal place, with a particular seduction. It has a more human dimension than the other busier Tuscan cities, whose charm is often compromised by aggressive tourism that does not respect peace. In Arezzo the atmosphere, decidedly quieter, invites you to experience the city in a less frenetic way and to enjoy it as if in small sips.
Choosing to get lost in the ancient streets, for example, or sitting in one of the numerous restaurants and seeing how life can flow more slowly, or stimulating curiosity in one of the many shops in the center. For a wedding photographer, Arezzo is full of solicitations and occasions. A city where history crosses, witness its many monuments, the Etruscan, Roman, medieval, Renaissance age. A city that has seen the birth of poets, writers, humanists, great painters (Petrarca, Leonardo Bruni, Pietro Aretino, Mecenate, Vasari just to name a few).
A city where every church, more or less famous, has a masterpiece in its custody, be it the cycle of frescoes by the great Piero della Francesca in San Francesco or the wooden Crucifix by Cimabue in San Domenico. A city of which the Piazza Grande alone, its undisputed symbol, repays the visit because the gaze does not know where to rest, so many and amazing are the architectural works that overlook it and which have made it one of the most famous Italian squares.
Arezzo is all this, but despite its historical and artistic greatness, it has managed to keep intact that human dimension I mentioned earlier, to preserve that kind of family intimacy that is now increasingly difficult to find, especially in urban contexts. That may be why Arezzo is an ideal location for a wedding photographer. There is the wedding in Tuscany which for many is an obligatory choice and there is the undisputed beauty of the city, the numerous opportunities for unique shots, the offer of original views, endless ideas for photographs where the warm color of the stone and earth create suggestions of an almost timeless reality. It is no coincidence that the invitation that the city, on its interactive website, addresses to the traveler is “Take your time”. Take your time and travel through time, immersing yourself in a magical place to explore its history, origins and traditions.
Getting married in Arezzo means guaranteeing all this and broadening your gaze and the desire to explore, it will be impossible not to be surprised by the many villages that are next to you, a stone’s throw away: Montevarchi, Anghiari, San Sepolcro, Poppi, Cortona and many others. A wedding photographer in Arezzo has more than one chance to create a reportage that will be much more than a memory. Seeing it every time will make the emotions of that day reborn almost intact.
