Wedding at Masseria San Paolo, Apulia

Apulia is one of my favorite regions in Italy: beautiful landscapes, exceptional food, and (almost) always wonderful weather. Perhaps this is why Millie and Sam, two young people from the United Kingdom, decided to celebrate their wedding there.

The Masseria San Paolo Grande, right near Ostuni, was the perfect place for their special day: surrounded by nature, full of history and many evocative details that immediately recall the traditions of this beautiful region. To best capture their wedding, I decided to use digital color and black and white film.

The day, which initially seemed sunny, quickly gave way to clouds and then a veritable deluge. However, the rain did not dampen Millie and Sam’s desire to celebrate, nor that of their guests. In fact, I have rarely seen such a close-knit group. The speeches during the ceremony and reception, their wild dancing, and the happiness on everyone’s faces will remain etched in my memory for a long time.
